Welcome to Dominique Augagneur's website — cartonnage designer and author of books, videos and technical sheets. Specialising in bespoke, personalised boxes for Sacred Art.

A cartonnage designer for over 35 years, I pass on the joy of creating with your own hands. Discover my journey and the way I guide each person towards their hidden talents.

Who am I?

Cardboard, cutter, bone folder, and glue pot you shall buy,

Ardently and in good spirits, your new craft you will try.

Rewarding bookbinding, padding, and sheathing you’ll master,

Textiles, paper, bookcloth, leather, and skivertex brought together.

Objects, useful yet fun, with your hands you will design,

Naturally inspired by creativity so fine.

Note of personal style to every piece you will impart,

Any shape or form will be crafted with all your heart.

Grain of folly and precision you’ll blend with great zeal,

Ever so joyfully, to your friends your art you will reveal!
